SAP Basis & BTP – Inhouse Consultant (f/m/d)

About the role
A well-established international organisation is seeking an experienced SAP Basis & BTP Consultant to strengthen its internal IT team. The role combines hands-on system administration with project involvement and close collaboration with business and application teams in a modern SAP landscape.

Your responsibilities

• Planning and carrying out installations, upgrades, and patches across the SAP system landscape, including coordination of external service providers

• Ongoing monitoring and administration of SAP systems to ensure stability, availability, and performance

• Management of SAP users, roles, and authorisations

• Administration, enhancement, and support of solutions within the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)

• Partial responsibility for SAP-related projects, particularly within S/4HANA infrastructure initiatives

• Advising and supporting internal departments and application teams in the use and further development of SAP-supported business processes

Your profile

• Degree in computer science, business informatics, business administration, or a comparable qualification

• Several years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration

• Practical experience with SAP BTP

• Solid knowledge of SAP user, role, and authorisation management

• Experience coordinating service providers and contributing to project execution

• Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented working style

• Strong understanding of complex system and business interdependencies

• High service orientation, consulting mindset, and communication skills

• Team-oriented personality with the ability to work independently

• Fluent German and good command of English, both written and spoken
