A leading pharmaceutical company based in Mechelen is looking for an SAP BI / SAC Financial Planning Consultant to drive and enhance their corporate planning and reporting systems!

Position Overview:

As a SAP BI / SAC Financial Planning Specialist, you’ll play a crucial role in the company's corporate planning and reporting systems. Working closely with the CFO and FP&A team, you’ll transform business needs into impactful SAC data models, workflows, and reports. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence financial planning and reporting across a global pharmaceutical leader.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Business Units: Analyze and document requirements across various business areas to ensure the SAC platform fully supports their planning and reporting needs.
• Enhance the SAC System: Work in partnership with Finance and the SAP CoE team to evolve the SAC platform by adding new data elements, developing visualizations, building tailored reports, and enriching data models.
• SAC Gatekeeper: Serve as the SAC “gatekeeper,” ensuring alignment with SAP best practices for financial planning while meeting the unique needs of the business.
• Oversee Development Cycles: Manage the full development cycle for new requirements, from design and configuration through to implementation and user training.
• Optimize System Performance: Ensure the system is designed for smooth functionality and impactful user experiences.
• Change Documentation and User Training: Document all system changes in line with change management policies, and provide knowledge transfer to key users for effective use of the SAC system.

Your Skills:

• SAC Experience: Minimum of 3 years with SAC, with a focus on financial planning.
• SAP Planning Tools: Demonstrated experience with SAP Planning tools, particularly SAC Planning, BPC, or similar.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with SAP Datasphere or BW/4HANA data modeling, along with a solid understanding of financial planning and controlling processes.
• Financial Insight: An understanding of financial planning, controlling, and related processes is essential.
