SAP ABAP Developer

Are you an experienced SAP ABAP Developer looking to work on large-scale SAP transformation projects within a stable, international manufacturing environment?

Our client is a globally recognised German production company undergoing a major digital transformation programme, including SAP S/4HANA initiatives and the continuous development of its modern SAP landscape. As part of a growing SAP team, you will play a key role in designing, developing and optimising business-critical SAP applications used across multiple international locations.

Your Responsibilities

• Design, develop and enhance SAP solutions using ABAP and ABAP OO
• Work closely with SAP functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Develop interfaces, reports, enhancements, forms and workflows within the SAP environment
• Support SAP S/4HANA projects, migrations and system optimisations
• Build and maintain modern SAP applications using technologies such as CDS Views, OData Services and SAP Fiori where applicable
• Participate in technical design workshops and contribute to SAP development standards and best practices
• Analyse and resolve complex technical issues while ensuring high system performance and quality

Your Profile

• Several years of experience as an SAP ABAP Developer
• Strong knowledge of ABAP, ABAP Objects and SAP development methodologies
• Experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments
• Exposure to modern SAP technologies such as CDS Views, OData, SAP Gateway, RAP or Fiori is advantageous
• Experience developing interfaces using IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs or web services
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently within an international environment
• Fluent German and English skills are desirable
