Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative IT Project Manager to lead strategic technology initiatives across our credit union. This role focuses on delivering complex IT projects—ranging from core system upgrades and cybersecurity initiatives to digital banking enhancements—on time, within budget, and in alignment with compliance and member experience goals.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, lead, and manage IT projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with business priorities

• Coordinate cross-functional teams including vendors, internal IT, compliance, and business stakeholders

• Define project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource plans while monitoring progress and risks

• Ensure projects meet regulatory, risk, and audit requirements (e.g., NCUA, FFIEC)

• Provide regular updates to leadership, track milestones, and facilitate project governance meetings

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in IT Project Management, ideally in financial services or credit union environments

• Strong understanding of digital banking platforms, core systems (e.g., Symitar, Fiserv, Corelation), and third-party fintech integrations

• Proficient in project management tools and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid)

• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and risk mitigation skills

• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks affecting financial institutions

Preferred:

• PMP, CSM, or ITIL certification

• Experience managing vendors and contracts in a credit union or banking context

• Exposure to cybersecurity, digital transformation, or cloud migration initiatives
