Manager of IT Client Management (SCCM)

Energize SAP is looking for an experienced Manager of IT Client Management to lead the strategy, delivery, and continuous improvement of our end-user computing environment. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong people leadership with deep technical expertise in SCCM and client device management.
You will be responsible for ensuring our client systems are secure, stable, and efficiently managed while driving best practices across deployment, patching, and lifecycle management.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the IT Client Management team, providing technical guidance, coaching, and performance management

Own and evolve the SCCM environment, including application deployment, OS imaging, patch management, and reporting

Define and execute client management strategy across Windows devices and related tooling

Ensure endpoint security, compliance, and alignment with organizational standards

Partner with IT Security, Infrastructure, and Service Desk teams to deliver a seamless end-user experience

Manage vendor relationships and licensing related to endpoint management tools

Drive automation, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives

Produce clear documentation, metrics, and reports for stakeholders and leadership
Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience managing IT client/end-user computing teams

Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SCCM (configuration, administration, troubleshooting)

Solid understanding of Windows OS deployment, patching, and application packaging

Experience with endpoint security, compliance, and device lifecycle management

Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on technical oversight
Desirable Experience

Experience with Intune / Endpoint Manager and modern device management

Scripting skills (PowerShell preferred)

Experience in hybrid or enterprise-scale IT environments

Familiarity with ITIL or similar service management frameworks
