Freelance SAP GTS Consultant Opportunity – Long term S/4 HANA
Our customer, a leading Automotive OEM, is undertaking a large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementation programme as part of their digital transformation journey. The initiative covers 5+ European countries and aims to transition from a mainframe/legacy environment to a modern SAP-driven application landscape.
SAP GTS is a key component within this new architecture, and the customer is now seeking a Senior SAP GTS Consultant to reinforce the existing team.

SAP GTS is a key component within this new architecture, and the customer is now seeking a Senior SAP GTS Consultant to reinforce the existing team.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support SAP GTS implementation activities within the S/4HANA landscape.
- Work on solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment of GTS processes.
- Collaborate with global teams across 5+ EU countries for rollouts and localization needs.
- Integrate GTS with other SAP modules (SD, MM, FI, etc.) and external systems.
- Provide expertise on compliance management, customs management, and risk management.
- Support cutover, migration, and go-live activities.
- Conduct knowledge transfer and documentation for internal teams.
Skill / Experience Requirements
- Senior experience as an SAP GTS Consultant.
- Strong functional and technical knowledge of SAP GTS and S/4HANA integration.
- Experience in automotive or manufacturing industries is highly advantageous.
- Proven track record in large, multi-country SAP programs.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Start: ASAP
Duration: 6-12 months rolling contract (duration is 2-3 years minimum)
Location: Remote with potential for occasional travel to Belgium sites
Days per week: 2.5 to 5 days per week
