Digital Workplace Engineer (Citrix & Azure)

Location: Greater Dortmund (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
Salary: Up to €70,000

The Opportunity

We\'re supporting a leading international organisation in the search for an experienced Virtual Workplace Engineer to join its global End User Computing team.

This is an opportunity to work within a large-scale enterprise environment supporting 20,000–30,000 users, where you\'ll play a key role in delivering and maintaining modern digital workplace services across a global organisation.

Working closely with Infrastructure, Cloud, Security and Identity teams, you\'ll help develop and optimise the company\'s virtual workplace environment, ensuring users have a secure, reliable and high-performing experience across Microsoft 365 and Citrix technologies.

Responsibilities

• Optimise the enterprise Citrix environment.
• Maintain and improve Windows client infrastructure.
• Support the delivery of modern digital workplace services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex end-user computing issues.
• Collaborate with Cloud, Infrastructure and Security teams on enterprise-wide projects.
• Contribute to workplace modernisation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Help ensure a secure, stable and high-performing virtual workplace environment.

What We\'re Looking For

• Minimum 3 years\' experience within Enterprise Workplace or End User Computing environments.
• Strong experience with:
  • Citrix
  • Azure
  • Windows Client Management
  • Enterprise Workplace Technologies
• Experience working within large enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Preference for candidates from larger organisations supporting complex IT landscapes.
• Fluent German and English.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
