Job Advertisement: Azure DevOps Engineer

Overview

Energize Group is working with an IT Consulting company to find an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to join their client project. This engagement is part of a larger initiative to standardize and scale infrastructure across multiple business units. The project needs experienced hands to help drive progress and deliver on critical timelines autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside the client’s architect and internal teams to design and deploy Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions in Azure.
• Develop and implement Terraform code to support Azure environments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather technical requirements and translate them into deployable code.
• Participate in 2-week Agile sprints; assist in sprint planning, estimation, and delivery.
• Support compliance and security requirements, including code reviews and documentation.
• Assess and optimize existing Azure environments to enable repeatable, scalable deployments.
• Contribute to testing and validation of infrastructure components.
• Work within the client's existing DevOps processes and help mature their IaC strategy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Azure engineering with a focus on infrastructure automation.
• Strong expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and related tools.
• Awareness of Snowflake and Databricks (deep experience not required, but helpful).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with remote teams and stakeholders.
• Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., healthcare, finance) is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage deliverables in short timelines (3–4 week delivery cycles).
