Azure Data Engineer (Python, Data Factory, Data Governance)

In this pivotal role, you\'ll craft, optimize, and oversee scalable data pipelines and architectures within a dynamic environment, ensuring reliable and high-quality data foundations. Your expertise will enable seamless data integration, governance, and usability, directly impacting decision-making and operational excellence.

What You\'ll Do:

• Design, build, and operate robust data pipelines and architectures in Azure.
• Develop trusted, reusable data models and ensure data quality across the entire lifecycle.
• Optimize data models for analytics and BI tools, unlocking insightful business intelligence.
• Collaborate across engineering, analytics, and operational teams to embed best practices and ensure data consistency.
• Contribute to establishing and maintaining data governance standards and performance optimization.

Your Required Skills:

• Proven experience with PySpark, SQL, and Databricks.
• Hands-on expertise with Azure Data Factory and lakehouse architectures.
• Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and performance tuning.
• Ability to manage the full data lifecycle from integration to end-user consumption.
• Excellent written and spoken proficiency in German and English.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Knowledge of additional Azure services related to data management.
• Experience with cloud security and compliance practices.
