Azure Data Engineer (2)

Energize Cloud is supporting a major data transformation programme where the client is building a modern, cloud-based data platform on Azure, requiring the provision of multiple Data Engineers.

The project has already completed its architecture and design phase, and is now entering a critical deployment stage, where robust engineering capability is required to deliver scalable, production-ready data solutions.

This is a highly visible role where you will contribute to building the end-to-end data infrastructure across multiple business domains.

Location: Remote (with occasional travel to Barcelona & Paris)

• Design and build ETL/ELT pipelines across multiple data sources
• Develop and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory
• Implement data transformations and models in Azure Databricks
• Contribute to the development of a centralised Data Warehouse (DWH)
• Integrate data across systems and ensure data quality and governance
• Support Power BI data pipelines and reporting layers
• Work across the full data lifecycle (E2E) — ingestion to visualisation
• Collaborate with architecture, MDM, and platform teams

• 3–4+ years of experience with Azure Data Engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks (must-have)
• Proven experience with Azure Data Factory
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines at scale
• Exposure to tools like Synapse and/or Snowflake
