Cloud Engineer (Azure Infrastructure)

Location: Greater Dortmund (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
Salary: Up to €70,000

The Opportunity

We\'re supporting a leading international organisation in the search for an experienced Cloud Engineer to join its global Cloud Infrastructure team.

This is an opportunity to work within a large-scale Azure environment supporting 20,000–30,000 users, where you\'ll play a key role in designing, building and maintaining the cloud platform that underpins business-critical services across a global organisation.

This is a pure Azure Infrastructure position focused on platform engineering, cloud operations and automation.

Working alongside Infrastructure, Security, Workplace and Identity teams, you\'ll help drive cloud transformation projects while contributing to the continued modernisation of a global Microsoft environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain Azure infrastructure services.
• Manage Azure IaaS and PaaS environments.
• Support Azure networking, storage and compute resources.
• Develop and improve automation using PowerShell and Infrastructure-as-Code principles.
• Monitor, optimise and secure cloud infrastructure.
• Support cloud migration and infrastructure transformation projects.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security and Workplace teams on enterprise-wide initiatives.
• Contribute to the ongoing development and modernisation of the Azure platform.

What We\'re Looking For

• Minimum 3 years\' experience working within Azure Infrastructure.
• Strong experience with:
  • Microsoft Azure
  • Azure IaaS & PaaS
  • Azure Networking
  • Storage & Compute
  • PowerShell
  • Infrastructure automation
• Experience working within enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Preference for candidates from larger organisations supporting complex IT landscapes.
• Fluent German and English.
• Strong analytical mindset with a passion for cloud technologies and continuous improvement.
