Role Overview
We’re looking for an experienced Freelance Ab Initio Consultant to support the design, development, and optimization of ETL workflows and data integration solutions. This role involves short-term project work, hands-on development, troubleshooting, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver high-quality data pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Build and optimize ETL processes using Ab Initio (GDE, Co>Op, Conduct>It, etc.).
- Analyze data requirements and deliver scalable integration solutions.
- Troubleshoot performance issues and support production pipelines.
- Provide technical guidance and documentation for project teams.
- Work independently while coordinating deliverables with stakeholders.
- Strong hands-on experience with Ab Initio tools.
- Solid understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and data warehousing.
- Strong SQL and Unix/Linux scripting skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
- Able to work autonomously and deliver on agreed timelines.
- Experience with cloud platforms or big data tools.
- Familiarity with Agile environments.
- Prior consulting or freelance experience.
