Staff Systems Engineer Functional Safety

Energize Robotics is searching a Staff Systems Engineer with a passion for safety-critical robotics. This company is redefining the future of humanoid robots, and needs a visionary leader to drive system architecture and functional safety integration.

What You’ll Bring:

• 8+ years of Systems Engineering experience in safety-critical domains such as robotics, aerospace, automotive, or medical devices.
• 3+ years focused on system safety or functional safety projects, familiar with standards like ISO 13849, IEC 61508, or ISO 26262.
• Proven expertise in system architecture, requirement management, hazard analysis, and safety lifecycle processes.
• Skilled in safety analysis tools (e.g., ANSYS medini analyze, PTC Windchill FTA) and requirements platforms (Jama, DOORS, Polarion).
• Excellent leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  Preferred Qualifications:
• Advanced degree in Systems, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
• Experience with autonomous or industrial robotics, AI/ML safety considerations, and regulatory compliance.
