Senior Systems Engineer (Software)

Energize Robotics is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer on behalf of a market-leader in developing humanoid robots.

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be instrumental in shaping our innovative robot platform, driving system-level architecture, and ensuring seamless integration across mechanical, electrical, firmware, and software domains in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

You will own requirements, facilitate cross-functional collaboration, and implement structured, scalable development processes—all while maintaining agility to deliver impactful products rapidly. Your expertise will help bridge complex system interactions with practical, operational solutions, making a tangible difference in our robotics deployment.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Systems Engineering experience in robotics, aerospace, or multidisciplinary hardware/software systems
• Proven success in system-level integration and architecture leadership
• Strong skills in requirements management, system decomposition, and interface definition
• Deep understanding of compliance standards like ISO 13849, IEC 61508, and safety-critical system design
• Proficiency with requirements management and modeling tools
• Demonstrated systems thinking with examples of managing cross-functional dependencies and downstream impacts

Nice to Have:

• Experience with autonomous systems software integration
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks for manufacturing/warehousing environments
• Prior experience in rapid development cycles and safety analysis

Preferred Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or higher in Engineering, Computer Science
• Extensive hands-on experience in robotics or complex hardware/software systems

Additional Requirements:

• Hybrid role with occasional travel
• Relevant certifications and familiarity with safety standards
