Key Skills:
- Over 5 years of hands-on experience with reinforcement learning frameworks such as PyTorch and JAX.
- Proficiency in high-fidelity physics simulators, including MuJoCo and IsaacGym.
- Strong programming skills in Python for rapid prototyping, as well as C++ for performant deployment.
- Extensive experience building and scaling large-scale, distributed training pipelines.
- Deep understanding of modern RL concepts like imitation learning, model-based RL, and sim-to-real transfer.
- Solid grasp of robot dynamics and control systems to inform learning algorithms.
- Results-driven mindset with a passion for deploying algorithms on physical robotic hardware.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with legged robots or robotic manipulators.
- Familiarity with hardware integration, sensors, and real-world testing environments.
- Contributions to research through publications at conferences such as CoRL, RSS, or ICRA.
- Mentorship experience guiding junior engineers in complex technical projects.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Advanced degree (PhD or MS) in Computer Science, Robotics, or related fields.
- At least 2 years of industry experience successfully deploying reinforcement learning policies on physical robots.
- Demonstrated leadership or mentorship roles within engineering teams.
- Proven track record of translating research into real-world robotic applications.
