SAP Value & AI Transformation Expert (Joule / S/4HANA)

Overview

A global pharmaceutical company in Frankfurt is seeking an experienced SAP Value & AI Transformation Expert to support its global SAP S/4HANA transformation programme. The role focuses on driving business value by combining SAP expertise, AI innovation, and business transformation to deliver measurable operational and strategic outcomes across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead value-driven SAP S/4HANA transformation initiatives from business case through implementation and adoption.
• Define and monitor business value, KPIs, and benefits realisation throughout the transformation lifecycle.
• Partner with senior business stakeholders, IT leadership, and implementation partners to align transformation objectives with strategic priorities.
• Identify opportunities to embed Artificial Intelligence, automation, and advanced analytics into core business processes.
• Facilitate workshops to assess current processes, define future-state operating models, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop transformation roadmaps, value frameworks, and executive presentations supporting investment decisions.
• Collaborate with SAP functional teams to ensure business requirements are translated into scalable SAP S/4HANA solutions.
• Drive organisational change by supporting stakeholder engagement, user adoption, communications, and training activities.
• Monitor programme progress, risks, dependencies, and value delivery, providing regular updates to executive leadership.
• Promote continuous improvement by identifying emerging SAP innovations and AI capabilities that enhance operational efficiency and business performance.

Skills & Experience

• Extensive experience delivering SAP transformation programmes, preferably involving SAP S/4HANA.
• Strong understanding of business process optimisation across enterprise functions.
• Experience applying AI, automation, or data-driven decision-making within enterprise transformation programmes.
• Proven ability to define business cases, value metrics, and benefits realisation frameworks.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with experience engaging senior executives and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent workshop facilitation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of SAP Best Practices, enterprise architecture principles, and digital transformation methodologies.
• Experience working with external implementation partners and global project teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a focus on measurable business outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• SAP S/4HANA implementation or transformation experience.
• Familiarity with SAP Business AI, SAP BTP, process automation, or enterprise AI solutions.
• Experience in global or multinational transformation programmes.
• Project or programme management certification is advantageous.
