Team Lead – SAP Business Applications (m/f/d)

To strengthen the IT function, the company is looking for a Team Lead for SAP Business Applications. In this role, you will take both functional and disciplinary responsibility for a team of SAP consultants and developers. You will play a key role in shaping the SAP landscape, driving transformation initiatives, and delivering effective solutions to support business processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the SAP applications team

• Define and evolve the SAP architecture within the broader IT strategy

• Oversee the ongoing development, support, and optimisation of the SAP environment (including S/4HANA, cloud solutions, add-ons, and interfaces)

• Advise business units and international entities on process improvement and standardisation using SAP solutions

• Gather, analyse, and implement business requirements in collaboration with internal stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners

• Manage and coordinate external consultants and service providers

Requirements

• Degree in (business) informatics or a related discipline, or equivalent experience

• Proven experience in leading and managing technical teams

• Strong knowledge of SAP modules, business processes, and the wider SAP ecosystem

• Several years of hands-on experience in SAP consulting and implementation

• Solid project management skills, including experience with SAP rollouts and transformation projects

• Proficiency in both German and English
