SAP Support & Authorization Inhouse Consultant (m/f/d)

A well-established, internationally active manufacturing company with multiple European locations is seeking an SAP Support & Authorization Inhouse Consultant to strengthen its internal SAP support and authorization team. Your Profile

Completed degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification

Initial to several years of professional experience in SAP support and/or SAP authorization management
-
Good understanding of SAP module processes, particularly SD, MM, and FI/CO
-
Confident handling of SAP authorization concepts (users, roles, profiles)
-
Strong team spirit, communication skills, and a structured, independent working style

Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
Your Responsibilities
SAP First & Second Level Support

Receive, analyze, and process SAP incidents and service requests independently or in collaboration with third-level support

Support end users in their daily work within relevant SAP modules (e.g. SD, MM, FI, CO, PP)

Perform root cause analyses and ensure sustainable, long-term solutions

Create and maintain user documentation and work instructions to ensure transparent processes

Conduct training sessions for key users and end users and coordinate with external service providers as required
SAP Authorization Management

Design, create, maintain, and continuously optimize SAP user roles and profiles in line with the established authorization concept

Regularly review existing roles, identify optimization potential, and perform authorization reviews

Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with applicable guidelines and regulations

Advise business departments on authorization requirements and support the introduction and further development of Segregation of Duties (SoD) controls
Project Collaboration

Actively contribute to SAP change requests and system enhancements

Plan, manage, and implement smaller projects within SAP support or authorization topics

Support test management activities, including test case creation, execution, and documentation
