Help shape a large-scale digital logistics transformation as an SAP SD Consultant / Solution Architect. In this role, you will play a key part in an international SAP S/4HANA transformation programme, delivering modern logistics solutions and supporting business process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Lead Supply Chain Management (SCM) projects with a focus on SAP Sales & Distribution (SAP SD), advising business stakeholders on IT solutions aligned with the target architecture.
- Contribute to an international SAP S/4HANA transformation programme as part of the SAP SD team.
- Design, develop, and implement enterprise SCM solutions, with a primary focus on SAP SD, while adhering to established governance standards.
- Configure SAP applications, perform functional testing, and support integration testing and user acceptance testing.
- Produce functional and technical specifications for development teams.
- Evaluate and recommend suitable applications, while coordinating and managing external vendors where required.
- Support SAP logistics applications, interfaces, and integrated systems in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Work closely with colleagues across international locations and provide Level 2 and Level 3 application support (up to approximately 20% of the role).
Requirements
- Bachelor\'s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience as an SAP Logistics Consultant with a strong focus on SAP SD, ideally including SAP S/4HANA implementations.
- Strong knowledge of SAP Sales & Distribution, cross-functional logistics integration, and end-to-end business processes such as Quote-to-Cash.
- Experience designing and implementing business processes within SAP ECC and, ideally, SAP S/4HANA.
- Experience participating in or leading IT projects involving new business processes or enterprise system implementations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured, process-oriented approach.
- Excellent stakeholder management, customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within international teams.
- Professional proficiency in both German and English.
