IT Global Business Consultant – Sales & Distribution (m/w/d)

About the Role

A global, innovation?driven company in the healthcare and consumer products sector is seeking an IT Global Business Consultant for Sales & Distribution (SD). In this role, you will collaborate closely with international teams across order management, sales operations, and customer data to design, optimize, and implement SAP?based solutions that enhance business processes.

You will work with SAP ECC/S/4HANA SD as well as third?party tools, contributing to global projects, integrations, and continuous process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with business stakeholders and process owners in Sales & Distribution.
• Design and configure SAP SD solutions in alignment with global architecture standards.
• Support integrations with third?party applications (e.g., CRM, EDI, tax and payment systems).
• Identify opportunities for process optimization based on industry best practices.
• Contribute to integrations with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or Veeva.
• Lead smaller projects and support larger SAP initiatives, including planning, configuration, data migration, testing, validation, and go?live activities.
• Support change management processes in collaboration with AMS partners.
• Facilitate cross?functional collaboration to ensure seamless system integration.
• Conduct workshops to gather requirements, analyze processes, and identify gaps.
• Perform testing and prepare validation documentation.
• Develop training materials and deliver end?user training.
• Provide 3rd?level support and troubleshoot complex issues.

Your Profile

• Degree in IT, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification.
• 5+ years of experience with SAP SD, including configuration and integration.
• Strong understanding of sales processes and their interaction with logistics/supply chain and finance.
• Solid knowledge of pricing, returns, intercompany processes, and SAP reporting.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to both IT and business stakeholders.
• Strong English skills (written and spoken); proficiency in MS Office and SAP tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and migration projects.
• Background in multinational environments with global template governance.
