SAP Platform Specialist (BTP/ALM)

A leading global Tier 1 automotive supplier is seeking an experienced SAP Platform Manager to drive the strategic and technical development of its SAP ecosystem. You will play a central role in managing the core SAP platform with a focus on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), and SAP Basis operations.

Your Responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture, design, and integration of SAP BTP components (e.g., Integration Suite, CAP, Fiori/UI5, Work Zone).

• Oversee SAP ALM processes including Change Management, Transport Management, and Solution Manager/Cloud ALM utilization.

• Manage SAP Basis operations ensuring system availability, performance, upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting.

• Collaborate with SAP functional and development teams to support cross-functional initiatives.

• Drive innovation and modernization initiatives across the SAP landscape including S/4HANA, cloud integration, and DevOps practices.

• Coordinate with external partners and service providers to ensure SLA adherence and strategic alignment.

• Define governance standards and best practices for SAP platform usage across global sites.

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis and platform management.

• Strong knowledge of SAP BTP architecture and services.

• Experience with SAP Cloud ALM or Solution Manager is a must.

• Solid understanding of system integration, security, performance tuning, and SAP technical operations.

• Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
