SAP MDM Consultant

We are looking for an experienced SAP MDM (Master Data Management) Consultant to support the design, implementation, and optimisation of master data processes across our SAP landscape. In this role, you will ensure the accuracy, consistency, and governance of master data across key business domains, enabling smooth operations and reliable reporting.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP master data objects, data governance frameworks, and MDM tools, along with the ability to collaborate closely with business stakeholders and technical teams. You will play a critical role in shaping data standards, improving data quality, and supporting large-scale transformation or migration projects.

Core Focus Areas

• Analyse current master data processes and define improvements aligned with business needs and SAP best practices.

• Configure and support SAP master data objects (e.g., material, customer, vendor, business partner) within the MDM framework.

• Implement and maintain data governance rules, workflows, and quality controls.

• Support data migration activities, including data mapping, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation.

• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and accurate master data across systems and interfaces.

• Provide expertise on SAP MDM/MDG capabilities and guide stakeholders through solution options.

• Troubleshoot data issues and ensure long-term stability through process and system enhancements.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Strong experience with SAP Master Data Management (MDM) and/or SAP Master Data Governance (MDG).

• Hands-on knowledge of key master data domains and SAP configuration.

• Experience with data migration tools and methodologies (e.g., SAP Data Services, LSMW, BAPI, IDoc).

• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable data models and governance processes.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data quality and process optimization.
