• Clear Scrum process with sprints, sprint planning, daily, sprint review and retrospective 
• Agile implementation of SAP S/4 HANA and the expansion of the cloud architecture are the focus

Your tasks

•  You design and develop sophisticated backend applications with Node.js in the CAP framework and create intuitive frontends with SAPUI5
•  You ensure the seamless integration of your applications into our SAP S/4HANA landscape and develop robust OData interfaces for data exchange with SAP and non-SAP systems
•  You will connect our applications to the event streaming platform (Kafka) and thus contribute to the modernization of our system architecture
•  You ensure the quality of your code through code reviews and the implementation of unit tests
•  You work agile, use GitFlow for version control and push your applications via CI/CD pipelines into our GitLab environment
•  You work closely with the business departments and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions

This is what you bring with you

•  You have several years of experience in developing and configuring services/apps on SAP BTP, especially with the CAP model using Node.js
•  You are proficient in using Git (ideally GitLab), understand and use GitFlow processes, and have experience with CI/CD pipelines
•  You have in-depth knowledge of test automation of JavaScript applications, for example with frameworks such as Jest, and value high code quality
•  You communicate fluently in German (spoken and written) to ensure smooth collaboration within the team and with the specialist departments
• Experience in developing frontend applications with SAPUI5 / Fiori as well as basic ABAP knowledge is an advantage
