Energize are looking for an SAP FICO Consultant to join a functional analyst team, supporting complex Finance and Controlling topics with a strong focus on core SAP FI sub-modules, within an S/4HANA environment.
The role requires a consultant with strong business acumen, excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to provide expert-level support across SAP Finance, while working closely with key users, business process owners and technical teams.

Key Requirements:
- Senior SAP FICO Consultant with 5+ years’ hands-on SAP FI/CO consulting experience
- Strong experience delivering SAP S/4HANA Finance functionality
- Excellent understanding of core Finance processes, especially GL, AP, AR, AA and Bank Ledger
- Good Controlling knowledge across cost centre accounting, profitability analysis, product costing and budgeting
- Experience with month-end closing, tax, treasury and consolidation topics
- SAP Group Reporting experience highly beneficial
- Able to provide Level 3 expert support for complex SAP FICO system issues
- Experience writing functional specifications and working closely with ABAP developers
- Able to support change management, documentation and end-user training activities
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills
- Able to collaborate with, influence and guide key users and business process owners towards solution delivery
- Good understanding of internal controls, audit requirements and regulatory standards
- English and Dutch fluent required

- Start: Immediate / ASAP
- Contract duration: Initial 6 months, with extensions
- Location: Ghent, Belgium - 3 days per week on-site mandatory
