SAP In-house Consultant (Finance and Accounting)

1. General Requirements:

• A completed degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of professional experience as an SAP consultant, particularly in the FI (Financial Accounting) and CO (Controlling) modules.
• SAP FI/CO certifications are a plus.

2. Professional Knowledge:

• In-depth knowledge of the SAP FI modules: Accounting, General Ledger, Accounts Receivable and Payable, Asset Accounting.
• Experience with SAP CO modules: Cost Element Accounting (CO-OM-CEL), Cost Center Accounting (CO-OM-CCA), Internal Orders (CO-OM-OPA), Profit Center Accounting (EC-PCA), Profitability Analysis (CO-PA).
• Familiarity with legal requirements in finance (e.g., HGB, IFRS).
• Knowledge in reporting and analysis (e.g., SAP BW, BPC) is desirable.

3. Technical Skills:

• Experience in the implementation and customization of SAP FI/CO solutions.
• Ability to analyze and document requirements.
• Ability to create specifications and perform tests.
• Basic knowledge of ABAP or SAP Fiori is an advantage.
• Familiarity with integration processes between FI/CO and other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD).

4. Analytical Skills:

• Strong analytical and conceptual abilities to solve complex problems.
• Ability to develop solutions that meet the specific requirements of clients.

5. Project Management and Communication:

• Experience in leading or contributing to SAP implementation projects.
• Excellent communication skills in German and English.
• Ability to explain complex matters clearly and conduct training.

6. Personal Traits:

• Team-oriented and interdisciplinary thinking.
• High customer orientation and proactive work style.
• Flexibility and willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

7. Additional Requirements:

• Willingness to travel depending on project requirements.
• Experience working with international teams is a plus.

Working Conditions:

• Working hours: 37.5 hrs/week – 30 days vacation
