SAP Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SAP applications using ABAP/4 and ABAP Objects within an SAP Logistics environment.
• Develop and enhance interfaces and integration frameworks across an SAP S/4HANA landscape.
• Build and support integrations using modern SAP technologies, including SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP Integration Suite, Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP), REST APIs, and related integration technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions that support new business initiatives and improve existing business processes.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
• Provide technical consulting, system customisation, troubleshooting, and enhancements across SAP applications.
• Support the adoption of emerging SAP technologies such as CDS Views, OData services, CAP development, and cloud-native solutions.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable, high-performance technical solutions.

Skills & Experience

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Informatics, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience developing applications within SAP environments.
• Strong expertise in ABAP and ABAP Objects.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP Logistics modules; knowledge of Sales & Distribution (SD) and/or Materials Management (MM) is advantageous.
• Exposure to or willingness to learn SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP Integration Suite, Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP), Node.js, Git, and related cloud development technologies.
• Understanding of REST APIs, OData services, CDS Views, and modern SAP integration concepts.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within agile project teams.
• Enthusiasm for emerging technologies and continuous learning.
• Good written and spoken English; additional language skills may be beneficial depending on the working environment.
