Job Title: SAP FICO Consultant (RAR & Vertex)
Location: Austin, TX (Onsite)
Duration: 12+ Months (Long-Term Project)

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with strong expertise in Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) and Vertex tax solutions to join our team for a long-term engagement. The consultant will play a key role in designing, configuring, and supporting finance solutions within SAP S/4HANA, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and integration with external tax and reporting systems.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP FICO modules, with a strong focus on RAR and Vertex.

• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional SAP solutions.

• Configure and support RAR processes, including revenue recognition, contract accounting, and compliance with IFRS/ASC 606.

• Implement and integrate Vertex tax solutions with SAP for indirect tax determination, compliance, and reporting.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration with other SAP modules (SD, MM, PP, CO).

• Support testing phases (SIT, UAT), cutover planning, and go-live activities.

• Provide post-implementation support, issue resolution, and continuous improvements.

• Create functional documentation, training materials, and support knowledge transfer.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 6+ years of SAP FICO experience, including hands-on configuration.

• Proven expertise with SAP RAR and deep understanding of revenue recognition standards (IFRS 15/ASC 606).

• Strong experience implementing and integrating Vertex tax solutions with SAP.

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance preferred.

• Knowledge of cross-module integration (SD, MM, CO).

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and client-facing skills.

• Ability to work onsite in Austin, TX for the duration of the project.
