SAP CO (ML) Consultant

Energize SAP is currently supporting a customer who is looking for an expert Freelance SAP CO Consultant (Fully Remote) with strong Material Ledger and Manufacturing experience.

Our client is working within an SAP S/4HANA manufacturing environment and is currently struggling to pass the User Acceptance Testing phase. They need someone who can analyse the current setup, identify the root cause of issues, explain what needs to be corrected, and help guide the project through to completion.

Your Responsibilities:

• Analyse the current SAP CO and Material Ledger setup
• Support cost controlling processes within a manufacturing environment
• Review issues around product costing, cost centres, BOMs, PS and Variant Configuration
• Identify where the current system, process or data is causing problems
• Support workshops, UAT testing and business discussions
• Explain clearly what is incorrect and what needs to change
• Help guide stakeholders through the final project phase and into hypercare

Your Requirements:

• Expert-level SAP CO experience
• Strong Material Ledger knowledge
• Good understanding of manufacturing cost controlling
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA projects
• Strong functional understanding, not just system configuration
• Ability to analyse complex issues and explain them clearly to the business
• Confident working with change-resistant stakeholders
• Machinery or equipment manufacturing experience would be beneficial
• German preferred, but English-speaking consultants in Europe can be considered if highly experienced

Contract Details:

• Start: ASAP
• Duration: July–August initial contract
• Extension: Possible extension for September–October
• Capacity: 40 hours per week
• Location: Remote
• Preference: Germany-based consultant
