Job Title: SAP/Cloud System Engineer

About the company:

You will join a rapidly growing company specializing in managed cloud services and technical consulting for business-critical applications, including SAP. Acting as an extension of their clients' in-house teams, you will provide top-tier technical support to ensure their critical systems are always in good hands. Their team of around 40 professionals serves clients remotely from their offices in Kortrijk and Haasrode (Leuven). I'm looking for talented individuals to join them on this exciting journey.

Role Overview:
As a SAP/Cloud System Engineer, you'll play a key role in resolving technical challenges for our clients, focusing on their most critical systems. You'll tackle complex incidents, provide tailored solutions, and take part in significant technical projects like SAP upgrades and migrations. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, where you'll continuously develop your skills, working on cutting-edge technologies alongside a skilled team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting and resolving incidents on business-critical systems
• Offering tailored solutions for unique client requests
• Identifying and implementing process and tool improvements to prevent issues
• Analyzing system performance to ensure optimal efficiency
• Participating in key technical projects, including SAP S/4HANA upgrades and migrations
• Installing and maintaining servers, operating systems, and network equipment
• Managing SAP Basis technical operations, including transport management, client copy, kernel upgrades, and incident analysis

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a strong background in IT
• Proven hands-on experience with operating systems, databases, installations, and migrations
• No previous SAP Basis experience is required, but a passion for learning is essential
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills for interacting with clients and colleagues
• Fluent in English, with Dutch as a bonus
• Analytical, responsible, and able to work independently
