M365 Cloud Transformation Administrator

Main Tasks

• Develop, update, and implement an M365 strategy tailored to the needs of a public-sector IT environment

• Plan and execute migrations from on-premises systems to the Microsoft Cloud and integrate hybrid infrastructures

• Configure and provide ongoing administration of the M365 cloud platform (Azure AD, Endpoint Manager, Exchange, SharePoint)

• Safeguard system quality and stability through testing, monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous optimization

• Advise departments on cloud services, conduct training for IT administrators and employees, and prepare documentation

• Design and implement security and data protection concepts, ensuring compliance with regulations (e.g., GDPR)

• Manage and coordinate project teams consisting of internal IT staff, digitalization experts, business units, and external providers

• Flexibility to adapt or expand the scope of duties as needed

Requirements Profile

• Degree in IT or equivalent qualification with relevant professional experience

• Strong knowledge of M365 cloud administration and Microsoft on-premises products

• Familiarity with security, compliance, and data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, BSI IT-Grundschutz)

• Analytical mindset, structured and independent working style

• Proven experience in project management and interdisciplinary team coordination

• Excellent communication skills and commitment to continuous professional development

• German language proficiency at C1 level (CEFR) or higher
