IT Service Owner (Teamcenter / PLM)
Location: Asslar, Hesse Hybrid – 3 days on-site)
Salary: €87,000 – €93,000 + strong benefits package
The Opportunity
A leading international industrial organisation is currently undergoing a global IT transformation, with a focus on standardising its PLM landscape across 100+ legal entities worldwide.
As part of this initiative, the company is looking for a Service Owner IT Engineering to take ownership of their Teamcenter environment and play a key role in building internal capability while reducing reliance on external partners.
This is a high-impact position with real ownership, combining technical depth with strategic influence.
Your Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end PLM service (Teamcenter environment)
- Drive global rollout and standardisation of the platform
- Define and implement operational processes, SOPs, and documentation
- Act as the main interface between internal teams, external providers, and offshore support
- Manage incident, change, and service improvement processes (ITIL)
- Provide technical oversight and challenge external service providers
- Support global stakeholders and ensure service stability and scalability
Your Profile
- Strong experience with Teamcenter (administration, customisation, or development)
- Background in PLM / engineering environments (CAD/CAM)
- Experience working in complex, international IT landscapes
- Ability to combine hands-on technical work (~70%) with ownership responsibilities (~30%)
- Confident working with and steering external partners
- Structured, proactive, and highly self-driven
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years relevant experience
- German: Fluent (C-level)
- English: Fluent (C-level)
