EnergizeSAP is searching for a senior IT Security Consultant to support a German customer on a security assessment project for the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI). The project focuses on evaluating digital payment wallets, including Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal, with the consultant leading the security assessment workstream and producing high-quality German documentation for BSI.

Your Key Requirements:
- 5+ years of IT Security Consulting / Security Assessment experience
- Strong practical experience with BSI-Standard 200-2 and 200-3, including protection needs and risk analysis
- Good knowledge of BSI IT-Grundschutz and ISO 27001 / 27002
- Strong mobile application security experience, ideally including OWASP MASVS
- Knowledge of payment security, PSD2 / Strong Customer Authentication, tokenisation and digital wallets
- Experience with threat modelling, including account takeover, phishing, SIM swapping, session hijacking and token replay
- Good understanding of GDPR and data-sharing / third-party security risks
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to explain technical security topics to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Excellent written German, with experience producing structured technical documentation
- Relevant certification such as CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 or BSI IT-Grundschutz would be beneficial
- German public-sector / BSI project experience would be highly desirable
- Ideally, a recent security publication / whitepaper and IT security conference speaking experience
