We're hiring: IT Infrastructure Service Manager (m/f/d)

Location: Stuttgart | Full-time | Driving the energy transition

A leading player in the energy sector is on a mission to make their city climate-neutral by 2035—and IT is a critical part of that journey.

As a catalyst for renewable energy, innovation, and sustainable infrastructure, our client is looking to expand their IT organization with an experienced IT Infrastructure Service Manager (m/f/d) to help shape and manage the next phase of their digital transformation.

Your responsibilities
You’ll play a key role in the evolution of a cutting-edge “Virtual Data Center” by:

• Designing and continuously developing IT infrastructure, security services, and identity/access management in a cloud-based environment

• Collaborating closely with internal teams to translate business requirements into Azure-based solutions

• Evaluating cloud and security service offerings and leading procurement and implementation processes

• Managing external service providers and integrators

• Driving the seamless integration of the Virtual Data Center into the wider IT service landscape

Your profile
You're a tech-savvy, service-oriented professional with:

• A degree in computer science, business informatics, or comparable qualifications (e.g. IT specialist in system integration/application development)

• Solid experience in designing and implementing infrastructure and security services, ideally in hybrid/public cloud environments

• Strong knowledge of cloud technologies (especially Microsoft Azure) and modern IT security frameworks (e.g. CIS)

• Familiarity with IT service management standards (ITIL is a plus)

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
