Swift / iOS Developer – Contract
Location: Bogotá, Colombia preferred; open to candidates across Mexico, Brazil and other South American locations with similar time zones
Duration: 4 months
Schedule: 5 days per week

Rate: $20-25/hour, with flexibility for the right candidate

The Opportunity
We are working with a major US-based organization on a 4-month contract opportunity for a Swift / iOS Developer.
You’ll join an established development team supporting the development of a new native iOS application. Working alongside experienced developers and technical leads, you’ll take ownership of assigned development tasks and contribute to the delivery of new features and enhancements.
This is a great opportunity for a developer with around 2 years of professional Swift/iOS experience who is comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with a wider development team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain features for a native iOS application using Swift
- Pick up development tasks and tickets from the team\'s workflow
- Work closely with Tech Leads and other developers
- Communicate progress, status and blockers clearly
- Write clean, reliable and maintainable code
- Troubleshoot issues and support timely fixes
- Become familiar with the existing technical environment and development processes
- Collaborate effectively with a US-based development team
Technical Environment
The core requirement is strong Swift / iOS development experience.

- Confluence
You are not expected to be an expert across the entire technology stack. Senior developers and Tech Leads will be available to provide guidance and support.
What We\'re Looking For
- Approximately 2 years of professional Swift / iOS development experience
- Strong understanding of native iOS development
- Experience working from development tickets and taking ownership of assigned tasks
- Ability to work independently while knowing when to ask for support
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Strong spoken and written English
- Comfortable working as part of a distributed development team
- Availability to start quickly
