Location: Remote within Germany, with occasional travel to Northern Germany
Salary: Up to €130,000 OTE

Our client is a large manufacturing business based in Northern Germany with several thousand employees and operations across multiple sites. As part of a major digital transformation programme, the company is investing heavily in Data, AI, Cloud, and Advanced Analytics to drive operational efficiency and business growth.

The Role

The business is seeking an experienced Head of Data & AI Solutions to lead its Data & AI function, define the technology roadmap, and manage teams across Data Engineering, Analytics, and AI.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company\'s Data & AI strategy.
• Lead Data Engineering, AI, and platform teams.
• Build scalable data platforms, AI solutions, and predictive models.
• Drive data governance, MLOps, security, and compliance standards.
• Partner with business stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions.
• Promote innovation, coaching, and engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Master\'s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• Strong leadership experience within Data, AI, or Analytics environments.
• Expertise in modern cloud technologies, data platforms, and MLOps.
• Experience with data-driven modelling, forecasting, or automated trading environments.
• Fluent German and English.
• Strategic mindset with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
