Senior Specialist M365 (f/m/d)

An established financial institution is looking for a Senior Specialist M365 to join their IT Office and IT Infrastructure team in Düsseldorf. This is an exciting opportunity to work on the design, development, and management of M365 services in the cloud, ensuring secure, stable, and compliant operations within a highly regulated environment.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Design and continuously improve Microsoft M365 services in the cloud.
- Ensure the secure and stable operation of M365 services, while adhering to security and regulatory standards.
- Act as the main point of contact for all inquiries related to M365 services, providing expert support across the organization.
- Manage the integration of M365 with other cloud services, such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, MS Intune, and EntraID.
- Provide guidance to departments on effectively utilizing M365 cloud services.
- Oversee and enhance the EntraID Connect Service, enabling integration with services like MS Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Intune, and OneDrive.
- Represent the interests of M365 services within the Cloud Foundation Team, contributing to cloud strategy and decision-making.
- Lead and manage projects using both traditional and agile methodologies, contributing to office and IT infrastructure improvements.
- Support the ongoing development and management of core IT services, including Active Directory, DFS-based directory management, Exchange, VDI, and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
What We Are Looking For:
- A degree or equivalent training in IT or a related field, with at least 5 years of relevant professional experience or comparable expertise.
- Strong experience with Microsoft M365 services, including EntraID, MS Intune, Azure cloud technologies, and communication tools like Teams.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as BSI Grundschutz, CIS, CISA, Zero Trust, and Microsoft Security Score.
- Experience with Powershell, Microsoft Graph API, and Microsoft 365 DSC for configuring settings as Infrastructure as Code.
- Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Workspace Analytics, Azure Log Analyzer, or Sentinel for advanced data analysis.
- Expertise in office infrastructure technologies such as Active Directory, ADFS, DFS, and virtual desktop environments.
- A structured, analytical approach to business processes, with a creative and solution-focused mindset.
- Experience managing external service providers, creating operational documentation, and supporting audits.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a solid understanding of ITIL-based service management.
