Senior SAP FICO Project Manager

I am seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior SAP FI/CO Project Manager to join a Global Chemicals company based in Brussels. As the Senior SAP FICO Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the implementation and maintenance of SAP FI/CO projects across the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and drive business process improvement.

Responsibilities:

Project Management:

- Lead end-to-end project management activities for SAP FI/CO implementations and enhancements, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budget, and quality standards.

- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope definition, resource allocation, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies.

- Monitor project progress, identify potential bottlenecks, and proactively address issues to ensure successful project delivery.

- Collaborate with key stakeholders to establish project goals, deliverables, and success criteria.

 SAP FI/CO Implementation:

- Provide expertise in SAP FI/CO modules and processes, guiding the implementation team in system configuration, integration, and customization.

- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to define business requirements, perform gap analysis, and propose effective solutions.

- Ensure compliance with industry best practices and company policies while aligning SAP FI/CO functionalities with business objectives.

- Oversee the testing and validation of SAP FI/CO configurations, ensuring system integrity and data accuracy.

Stakeholder Management:

Establish and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, including finance, accounting, and IT teams, to understand their requirements and provide effective solutions.

Communicate project status, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders, senior management, and project sponsors.

Manage expectations and negotiate priorities to ensure alignment between project deliverables and business objectives.

Facilitate change management processes and provide guidance on SAP FI/CO functionalities to end users.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and optimization within the SAP FI/CO landscape.

Stay updated with industry trends, SAP FI/CO advancements, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and enhance the company's competitive edge.

Lead knowledge transfer sessions and provide training to team members and end users on SAP FI/CO functionalities and best practices.

Fluency in English is required; knowledge of French or Dutch is an advantage.
