My client are an exciting sports retailer, who are leading on a global scale with thousands of stores worldwide. They are looking for a talented Senior Full Stack Developer to technically lead the development team, maintenance and enhancement of the ecommerce platform with prioritizing backend development. 

You will: 

• Oversee the advancement, upkeep, and enrichment of our e-commerce platform, with a primary focus on backend development.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to outline, craft, and integrate novel features and improvements.
• Leverage your advanced proficiency in Kotlin and backend development, employing frameworks like Ktor.
• Implement streams and functional programming methodologies to streamline data and system operations effectively.
• Embrace test-driven development to establish resilient and dependable software solutions.
• Participate in frontend development tasks, ideally with expertise in React or Preact.
• Shape system architecture and design dialogues, guiding technological progression with a senior-level viewpoint.

Essential skills: 

• Kotlin
