Position Overview:

As an SAP WM Inhouse Consultant, you will be responsible for managing and enhancing the SAP Warehouse Management (WM) module within the company. You will collaborate closely with business users, IT teams, and external partners to ensure the effective implementation and utilization of SAP WM solutions, driving operational efficiency and supporting the company’s logistics and supply chain operations.

Tasks:

• Solution Implementation: Design, configure, and implement SAP WM solutions tailored to the specific needs of automotive warehouse operations, including inventory management, goods movement, and storage strategies.
• Business Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand challenges, and align SAP WM functionalities with operational processes.
• Customization and Optimization: Customize and optimize SAP WM modules to enhance warehouse efficiency and support evolving business needs.
• Support and Troubleshooting: Provide ongoing support to end-users, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the smooth operation of SAP WM systems.
• User Training: Develop and deliver training programs to ensure that users effectively utilize SAP WM functionalities.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the SAP WM module and implement solutions to drive operational performance.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, processes, and customizations to support knowledge sharing and future enhancements.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with other SAP module teams, such as SAP MM and SD, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of solutions across the organization.

Profile:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional Experience: Proven experience as an SAP WM Consultant with strong expertise in SAP WM modules and functionalities, particularly in the automotive industry.
• Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of SAP WM configuration, customization, and integration with other SAP modules, such as MM and SD.
• Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of automotive warehouse and logistics processes, including inventory management, goods movement, and warehouse optimization.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into effective SAP solutions.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with business stakeholders and IT teams.
• Team Collaboration: Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Language Proficiency: Minimum German language skills at level B2 and fluent English.
• Residency Requirement: Apply only if currently living and working in Germany.
