SAP Test Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced SAP Test Manager to join our client’s team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead the testing efforts for SAP projects, ensuring quality and reliability in a high-impact environment within the pharmaceutical industry.

Position Overview:

As an SAP Test Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all testing activities related to SAP implementations and upgrades. Your role will involve working closely with project teams, business stakeholders, and IT departments to develop and execute comprehensive test plans that ensure the successful delivery of SAP solutions.

Tasks:

• Test Strategy Development: Create and manage the overall test strategy and test plans for SAP projects, including defining scope, objectives, resources, and timelines.
• Coordination and Leadership: Lead and coordinate testing activities across various functional teams, ensuring alignment with project goals and schedules.
• Test Execution Management: Oversee the execution of all testing phases, including unit testing, integration testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Defect Management: Manage the defect lifecycle, including identification, tracking, resolution, and reporting of defects.
• Automation and Tools: Implement and manage test automation strategies and tools to improve efficiency and coverage.
• Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates to project stakeholders, ensuring transparency on testing progress, issues, and risks.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that all testing activities meet the company's quality standards and regulatory requirements, particularly in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of test plans, test cases, test results, and defect reports to support future testing efforts.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving the testing process, methodologies, and tools, driving efficiency and effectiveness.

Profile:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Project Management, or a related field.
• Professional Experience: Proven experience as an SAP Test Manager or in a similar role, with a deep understanding of SAP systems and testing methodologies.
• Testing Expertise: Strong knowledge of SAP testing tools, processes, and best practices, including experience with test automation.
• Project Management Skills: Solid project management skills, with experience in planning, coordinating, and executing testing activities in large-scale SAP projects.
• Problem-Solving Abilities: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex issues in a dynamic environment.
• Communication and Leadership: Strong communication and leadership skills, capable of managing cross-functional teams and working with stakeholders at all levels.
• Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing and quality assurance.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards relevant to the pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
• Language Proficiency: Minimum German language skills at level B2 and fluent English.
• Residency Requirement: Apply only if currently living and working in Germany.
