SAP Team Lead / Project Manager (S/4HANA Implementation)
Are you an experienced SAP Team Lead / Project manager looking for a new challenge, do you want to be heavily involved in an S/4HANA implementation?
You will be the SAP Team Lead / Project Manager and spearhead / manage the S/4HANA implementation project. You possess a strong blend of SAP expertise, managerial skills, and project management acumen. This critical role requires the ability to lead a team, coordinate project activities, ensure timely delivery, and drive the successful implementation of SAP S/4HANA across the organization.
Responsibilities:
Project Leadership:
- Lead the end-to-end S/4HANA implementation project, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain a detailed project plan, highlighting key milestones, tasks, and dependencies.
- Lead project kickoff and regular status meetings with cross-functional teams.
Team Management:
- Manage a team of SAP specialists, providing guidance, direction, and support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, encouraging open communication and knowledge sharing.
- Assign tasks, set performance goals, and conduct regular performance reviews for team members.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business units, IT departments, and executive leadership.
- Collaborate with business process owners to understand requirements and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Communicate project progress, risks, and mitigation plans to stakeholders at various levels.
Project Planning and Execution:
- Oversee the implementation process, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budget, and quality standards.
- Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, escalating critical issues as needed.
- Coordinate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP S/4HANA modules and components.
Change Management:
- Develop and execute change management strategies to facilitate smooth adoption of S/4HANA within the organization.
- Provide guidance to end-users and support teams during the transition, addressing concerns and ensuring user training.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Generate comprehensive project status reports and presentations for executive and stakeholder reviews.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, requirements, design documents, and user manuals.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and enhanced efficiency in project management and SAP implementation.
- Lead post-implementation reviews to gather insights and lessons learned for future projects.
