Position Overview:

As an SAP System Architect, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the overall architecture of the SAP environment within the organization. You will collaborate closely with business leaders, IT teams, and external partners to ensure that the SAP systems are robust, scalable, and aligned with business goals. Your expertise will guide the strategic direction of the SAP landscape, ensuring seamless integration, performance, and innovation.

Tasks:

• Architecture Design: Develop and maintain the overall SAP architecture, ensuring that it supports current and future business needs and integrates seamlessly with other systems.
• Strategic Planning: Work with business and IT leaders to define the SAP roadmap, aligning it with the company’s strategic objectives and digital transformation initiatives.
• System Integration: Oversee the integration of SAP systems with other enterprise systems, ensuring data consistency, process alignment, and technical compatibility.
• Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance on SAP best practices, emerging technologies, and industry trends to optimize system performance and capabilities.
• Project Oversight: Lead the technical design and architecture aspects of SAP implementation and upgrade projects, ensuring that solutions are scalable, secure, and efficient.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks related to the SAP architecture and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring the stability and security of the SAP environment.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including SAP module experts, developers, and external partners, to ensure cohesive and effective SAP solutions.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of the SAP architecture, including system designs, integration points, and technical specifications.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the SAP landscape, focusing on innovation, efficiency, and alignment with business needs.

Profile:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional Experience: Extensive experience as an SAP Architect or in a similar role, with a strong track record in designing and managing complex SAP landscapes.
• Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of SAP systems, including SAP ERP, S/4HANA, SAP cloud solutions, and integration with other enterprise systems.
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to align SAP architecture with business strategy and objectives, with a focus on scalability, performance, and innovation.
• Project Leadership: Proven experience in leading technical design and architecture for large-scale SAP implementation and upgrade projects.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to address complex technical challenges.
• Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Language Proficiency: Minimum German language skills at level B2 and fluent English.
• Residency Requirement: Apply only if currently living and working in Germany.
