Job Overview:

As an SAP Application Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing and overseeing the implementation of SAP solutions that support our manufacturing and business operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that SAP systems align with our business goals and run smoothly across various departments, such as production, supply chain, finance, and sales.

Key Responsibilities:

Architecture Design: Design, implement, and maintain the architecture for SAP systems to meet business needs and ensure scalability, security, and performance.

Integration: Develop and execute integration strategies for SAP modules (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC) with other enterprise systems and third-party applications.

Project Leadership: Lead and manage SAP-related projects, including new system rollouts, upgrades, and migrations, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.

Technical Expertise: Provide deep technical expertise in SAP architecture, including data modeling, configuration, and customization of SAP systems for production and business processes.

Collaboration: Work with stakeholders across the organization to gather requirements, provide insights, and translate business needs into SAP solutions.

Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive architecture documentation, system blueprints, and technical standards for SAP deployments.

Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues, ensuring high availability and performance of SAP applications.

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving SAP functionality, processes, and integration to increase efficiency and innovation within the production environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in SAP architecture and implementation, with a strong focus on SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC.

Technical Proficiency: Expertise in SAP modules (e.g., FI/CO, MM, PP, SD, QM), system integrations (APIs, IDOCs, BAPIs), and SAP middleware (PI/PO).

Project Management: Experience managing large-scale SAP implementations, including upgrades, migrations, and SAP Fiori.

Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to address complex technical challenges.

Communication: Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Languages: Fluency in German and English is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

SAP certification in architecture or relevant modules.

Familiarity with manufacturing and production processes, especially within SAP environments.

Knowledge of cloud-based SAP solutions (e.g., SAP Cloud Platform, SAP Business Technology Platform).
