Role: SAP SCM Consultant

Location: Mechelen

 I am currently partnered with a Global manufacturing company that is seeking a proficient SAP SCM, PP or QM Consultant with extensive functional expertise in the realm of SAP SCM.

 The ideal candidate could possess prior experience in SAP SCM, PP or QM or exhibit an enthusiastic eagerness to master these aspects. A solid technical foundation, along with some familiarity with SAP, is a prerequisite. I am on the lookout for an individual who thrives on collaboration, engaging with both local and international colleagues.

As a vital member of our team, you will contribute significantly to the companies migration to S/4HANA.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the leader of the SCM, PP/QM template during S/4HANA initiatives: safeguard and enforce the template, leveraging insights gained from previous rollout projects to contribute to its enhancement.
• Conduct fit-gap analyses for template rollout undertakings.
• Conceptualize and formulate solutions for identified gaps when necessary.
• Deliver accurate task estimations and diligently follow the project implementation timeline.
• Maintain transparent communication with the project manager concerning project advancements and challenges.
• Identify and enact SAP PP/QM solutions aligned with evolving business progress, regulatory dynamics, and simplification endeavours.
• Extend support and assistance to users, collaborating with external SAP partners to diagnose and resolve system complications.
• Align solutions with SAP release schedules and project/support timetables.
• Enhance system efficiency and assist the business in optimizing application utilization.
• Document modifications in line with the change management protocol.
• Convey essential knowledge to key users, ensuring adept usage of the application.
• Craft user manuals and uphold the knowledge repository.

Qualifications:

• Previous exposure to SAP Manufacturing and Quality Management solutions (SAP PP/PP-PI and QM and/or PM) is advantageous.
• Exhibit enthusiasm for mastering S4Hana.
• Demonstrate proficiency in seamless integration with other SAP modules (MM, SD, FICO) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
• Possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Prior involvement with SAP S/4HANA is an added advantage.

Languages:

 Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in additional languages is a valuable asset.
