SAP S4 Finance Expert

Freelance (2-Year Opportunity): Senior SAP S/4 Finance Consultant

We are currently looking for a Senior SAP S/4HANA Finance Consultant to help lead the rollout of our S/4HANA platform within the German entities of our organization.

 In this role, you will work closely with the S4 deployment lead and take responsibility for integrating upstream operational systems with SAP S/4HANA.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in S/4HANA deployment.
• SAP Finance Generalist with deep expertise in FI, AP, GL, etc.
• Strong understanding of all aspects of a deployment, from capturing requirements and technical spec analysis to bridging the gap between finance and SAP teams, delivering training, workshops, testing, etc., for newly acquired entities.
• Knowledgeable in financial and accounting rollouts.
• Ability to bridge communication between technical experts and system interfaces.
• Strong collaboration skills to ensure smooth integration across the German entities.
• Fluent in German, as this role requires communication with local teams and stakeholders.

Contract Details:

• Duration: 6-month rolling contract (18-24 months project)
• Location: Cologne (Hybrid or remote options available)
• Start: Flexible, March-April Flexible
• Languages: English and German required
