Position Overview:
As an Inhouse SAP PP/APO Consultant, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our production processes and supply chain operations through the effective utilization of SAP PP (Production Planning) and APO (Advanced Planning and Optimization) modules. You will work closely with various departments to understand their requirements and translate them into efficient SAP solutions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our organization while enhancing your skills in SAP consulting within the chemical industry.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into SAP PP/APO solutions.
Configure, customize, and maintain SAP PP/APO modules to support production planning and optimization processes.
Lead SAP PP/APO implementation projects, including system design, testing, and deployment.
Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP PP/APO issues, ensuring timely resolution.
Conduct training sessions for end-users to enhance their understanding and utilization of SAP PP/APO functionalities.
Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in SAP PP/APO to continuously improve processes and systems.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience (3+ years) as an SAP PP/APO Consultant, preferably in the chemical industry.
Strong expertise in configuring and customizing SAP PP/APO modules, including Production Planning, Demand Planning, and Supply Network Planning.
Hands-on experience with SAP implementation projects, from requirements gathering to post-go-live support.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Analytical mindset with a problem-solving attitude and attention to detail.
Fluent in both German and English (written and spoken).
