We are seeking a skilled SAP PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) Developer to join our client’s team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work within a world-renowned organization, contributing to the digital transformation of product lifecycle processes from design to production.

Position Overview:

As an SAP PLM Developer, you will focus on developing, optimizing, and supporting SAP PLM solutions to enable efficient product lifecycle management across the organization. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll implement and customize PLM functionalities to streamline product data management, collaboration, and compliance, enhancing overall operational performance.

Tasks

Development and Customization: Develop and configure SAP PLM functionalities, customizing workflows and user interfaces to meet business requirements in areas such as product design, engineering, and production.
Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical specifications for SAP PLM solutions.
Solution Design: Design effective PLM solutions within SAP to manage product data, documentation, and change management processes, ensuring alignment with industry standards and compliance requirements.
Integration: Work with IT teams to integrate SAP PLM with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD) and external systems, enabling seamless data exchange across the product lifecycle.
Troubleshooting and Support: Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP PLM issues, ensuring system stability and minimal disruption to product development processes.
Documentation and Training: Create detailed documentation for PLM configurations, workflows, and solutions, and provide user training to promote effective use of the SAP PLM platform.
Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance product lifecycle processes, leveraging SAP PLM best practices and innovative solutions.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with SAP PLM advancements, emerging technologies, and industry trends to continually improve SAP PLM functionalities and support organizational growth.

Profile

Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Professional Experience: Proven experience as an SAP PLM Developer, ideally within a retail or manufacturing environment, with strong expertise in PLM processes and functionalities.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP PLM, including product data management, document management, change management, and workflows, with experience in ABAP or other relevant SAP development languages.
Process Knowledge: Strong understanding of product lifecycle management, design, engineering, and manufacturing processes, particularly within a global or complex operational setting.
Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities with the capacity to translate business needs into effective SAP PLM solutions.
Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
Language Proficiency: Minimum German language skills at level B2 and fluent English.
Residency Requirement: Apply only if currently living and working in Germany.
