SAP Manager

I am looking for a highly skilled  Freelance SAP Lead/Manager to join one of my clients.

In this role, you will manage a team of 9 SAP Business Analysts, oversee the development of the SAP CoE, and drive key SAP initiatives across the organization.

You will be responsible for strategic planning, budget follow-up, and ensuring operational excellence in SAP support and enhancement processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee budget follow-up primarily on AMS activities.
• Manage a team of 9 SAP Business Analysts, guiding their performance, setting priorities, and providing leadership and coaching.
• Develop and expand the international SAP Competence Centre through process optimization, documentation, training, and improving communication and efficiencies.
• Collaborate with the SAP architect to define and implement short, mid, and long-term strategies and roadmaps for the SAP CoE.
• Manage SAP operational support incidents and drive the development of enhancements and system integrations.
• Oversee AMS supplier management, ensuring continuous improvement and high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with MDR, JSOX, and ISO standards and contribute to audit processes.
• Strong knowledge of at least one SAP module, with preference for SAP PM, but a functional analyst background is essential.

Qualifications:

• Strong experience in SAP team management and strategic leadership.
• Expertise in SAP functional modules (preferably SAP PM, but open to other modules).
• Proven experience in building and managing SAP CoEs and AMS management.
• Knowledge of compliance requirements such as MDR, JSOX, and ISO.
• Excellent communication skills (English), with the ability to collaborate across teams and regions.
