SAP Logistics Consultant

We are currently seeking an experienced SAP Logistics Consultant to join our client’s team. This role offers a unique opportunity to optimize and manage SAP logistics solutions within a prominent organization in the manufacturing sector.

Position Overview:

As an SAP Logistics Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing SAP logistics solutions, including modules such as Materials Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), and Supply Chain Management (SCM). You will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to enhance logistics processes, improve operational efficiency, and support the company’s strategic goals.

Tasks:

• Solution Design: Develop and configure SAP logistics solutions to address specific business needs, including inventory management, order processing, and supply chain optimization.
• Business Collaboration: Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand logistics challenges, and align SAP solutions with business processes and objectives.
• System Implementation: Manage the implementation and customization of SAP MM, SD, and SCM modules, ensuring they meet the company's logistics and supply chain requirements.
• Optimization: Continuously optimize SAP logistics solutions to improve process efficiency, enhance system performance, and support evolving business needs.
• Integration Management: Oversee the integration of SAP logistics modules with other SAP systems and third-party applications, ensuring seamless data flow and process alignment.
• Support and Troubleshooting: Provide ongoing support to end-users, troubleshoot issues, and resolve system-related problems to ensure smooth operation.
• Training and Documentation: Develop and deliver training programs for users, and maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, processes, and customizations.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements within SAP logistics modules to drive operational excellence and support business growth.

Profile:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional Experience: Proven experience as an SAP Logistics Consultant with strong expertise in SAP MM, SD, and SCM modules and functionalities.
• Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of SAP logistics configurations, customizations, and integration with other SAP modules and external systems.
• Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain processes within the manufacturing industry, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and distribution.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design solutions that address complex logistics challenges.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners.
• Team Collaboration: Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Language Proficiency: Minimum German language skills at level B2 and fluent English.
• Residency Requirement: Apply only if currently living and working in Germany.
