- Integration Management: Design, implementation and management of interfaces between SAP ERP and other internal and external systems
- Project work: Participation in IT projects for the integration of SAP systems with other applications and platforms
- Technical Specifications: Creation of technical specifications and documentation for integration solutions
- Middleware: Use and management of middleware technologies (e.g. SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI, SAP BTP) to support integration
- Programming: Development of integration solutions using programming languages such as Java, C#, Python (ABAP desirable)
- Support and Maintenance: Assist with troubleshooting and maintenance of existing integration solutions, ensuring system stability and performance
- On-call duty: Participation in on-call duty to support system integrations and quick problem resolution outside of regular working hours
- Collaboration: Close collaboration with internal teams, including IT (esp. IT Network & Security), ERP Inhouse Consultants and external service providers to understand and implement integration requirements
- Optimization: Analysis and optimization of existing integration processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Security: Ensuring data security and compliance when transferring data between systems
This is what sets you apart:
- Degree in computer science or comparable training in the IT environment
- Several years of in-depth experience in the administration of SAP integration platforms (e.g. SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI, SPA BTP)
- Several years of professional experience in the integration of ERP systems, especially with SAP PI
- At least five years of relevant professional experience in the DevOps environment (e.g. C++, C#, JAVA, SAP ABAP)
- In-depth knowledge of Web Services (SOAP, REST)
- Knowledge of container and orchestration technologies (e.g. Docker) desirable
- Experience with various database systems (z.B. SQL, SAP Hana MaxDB, GRAFANA ) is an advantage
- Knowledge of at least one scripting language (e.g. Python, Ruby) and a command-line interpreter (e.g. Bash, Powershell)
- Experience with deployment automation and administration of Windows and Linux server systems
- Very good knowledge of securing and hardening server systems according to appropriate standards
- Basic knowledge of SAP administration
- Good knowledge of IT processes (ITIL, PMO) desirable
- Fluent in written and spoken English and German
